A mix of Mexican and Honduran, Terri grew up in a poverty stricken household along with her six brothers and sisters. She began reading and writing at an early age to fill a void, her love of books inherited from her mother. She penned her first book, a short story titled The Day the Earth Exploded, when she was twelve. After graduating high school she lived the life of a pseudo nomad, living in various parts of the U.S. only to return to Texas. Because... there's no place like family.
Terri always knew she wanted to write, but she was determined to learn how to properly before she committed words to a page. She took several online courses and read stacks of novels as training before writing her first real book. She has since completed two novels and is at work on two more. She is an active member of Romance Writers of America and served one year as president of the Northwest Houston RWA chapter.
She is an acquiring editor for the online magazine, The Scruffy Dog Review. You can read her blog here and get her latest news updates here.
